How CamRated makes money, why that's a good thing, and exactly what it means for you.

CamRated earns money through affiliate commissions. When you click a link to a cam site and sign up, we may receive a commission — at zero extra cost to you. This does not influence our ratings, rankings, or reviews. Sites cannot pay for better placement.
How Affiliate Links Work
When you click a "Visit Site" or similar link on CamRated, your browser goes through an affiliate tracking URL. If you sign up and spend money on that site, the cam site pays us a commission — typically a percentage of what you spend or a flat bounty for a new signup.
This is how comparison and review sites on the internet have worked for decades. You get free, independent reviews — and the sites get customers. Everyone wins.
What It Costs You
Nothing extra. The commission comes out of the cam site's revenue, not yours. You pay the same price whether you use our link or go directly to the site. In some cases, our links may actually give you a better deal (signup bonuses, free tokens).
Does Money Influence Our Ratings?
No. Our ratings are based on our testing methodology, full stop. Here are the specific safeguards:
- ▸ We review sites whether they have an affiliate program or not. Some sites we review don't pay us at all.
- ▸ Higher commissions don't mean higher ratings. Our #1-rated site doesn't pay the highest commission.
- ▸ We don't accept direct payment from sites for reviews, placements, or "sponsored" positions.
- ▸ Ratings are calculated from structured criteria (model quality, pricing, features, safety, UX) — not vibes or paychecks.
- ▸ Cons are listed honestly. Every review includes both pros and cons — even for sites that pay us.
Which Sites Pay Us?
We participate in affiliate programs for most of the sites we review, including Chaturbate, Stripchat, LiveJasmin, BongaCams, CamSoda, and Jerkmate. Some sites (MyFreeCams, Streamate) have limited or no public affiliate programs — we review them anyway because they're important to the landscape.
The existence of an affiliate relationship is never hidden. Every "Visit Site" link that earns a commission is marked with standard affiliate tracking — this is visible in the URL.
Why We Use Affiliate Links
CamRated is a free resource. We don't charge readers, we don't run ads (beyond affiliate links), and we don't sell your data. Affiliate commissions pay for:
